a Type Specimen for Danish Typeface,Vinkel,
designed by Saku Heinanen for Typolar Foundry.

Final Outcome |

Typographic Layouts |

Vinkel reminded my of the typography that appears
on football jerseys so I decided to base the specimen
around football, specifically Danish footballer Jari Litmanen.

Cover & Poster Design |

I developed specific scores for each letter, numeral and glyph
in the typeface in order to create a top trumps type game that
I called 'Type Trumps'. I applied these to the cover and poster.

Photography |

In order to capture the true feeling of the book, I decided
to photograph it in it's natural habitat, as well as with the
Liverpool jersey Jari Litmanen wore when he played for them.
