Packaging & Type Design |

Once we had designed our very own sans serif
typeface ‘Eriu Sans’, we began to produce designs
for the finalised bottle and packaging for the brand.

Poster Design |

We designed a set of posters in augmented reality
that referenced various social movements in Ireland
in order to attract a younger, more diverse audience.

Brand Guidelines |

We designed a guideline booklet for the
brand that included our visual references,
type scale, colour schemes and more.

Idea Generation |

Jim Fitzpatrick | ‘Eriu, Goddess of the Tuatha Dé Danann’, 1976.
During the concept phase we found the story of eponymous
Goddess of Ireland, Eriu. She was known for being a modern
personification of Ireland, who stood for energy and renewal.

We wanted to create a modern visual language for
the brand that succesfully represented Eriu's energetic
character and attracted a new, younger audience.

By identifying commanlities in old Celtic Type
we were able to manipulate the forms and begin
to create our very own sans serif, ‘Eriu Sans’.
